Abstract
This chapter describes the research aspects of the case writing process. The author explains the Research Rhombus, which is a tool to guide case writers how to conduct research for their case study topic. Using the Research Rhombus, the author helps writers gather information about their topic. The purpose of this chapter is not to equip case writers with comprehensive skills in qualitative research but to give them sufficient skill to collect information to write their case studies. The author also explains how case writers can make sense of the information that they have collected to develop insights for their case study.
Within the chaos of information, we organise the random to reveal
new knowledge, keen insights and fresh ideas.
