Abstract

In this paper, we consider the leader-following tracking control problem for a class of nonlinear multi-agent systems (MASs) with Lipschitz-type dynamics via event-triggered approaches. For a directed communication topology, a distributed consensus control scheme is developed on the basis of event-triggered mechanism. In addition, to avoid continuous monitor of measurement information, a technical approach is presented for generation of the combinational information from their own neighboring agents only at event instants. The stability of the closed-loop system is given, and it is proven that the Zeno behavior is ruled out.
