High-Stakes Testing

Abstract

This chapter reports on a quantitative investigation, conducted in 2015, of the perceptions of the end-users of the LPATE and related stakeholders after 15 years of LPATE administrations. The objectives of the study were to investigate, quantitatively, perceptions of the extent to which English teachers’ English language standards may have improved since the introduction of the LPATE in 2000 and their perceptions of the impact of the LPATE [NOTE 1].
