Abstract
China’s per capita GDP reached $ 4478.49 in 2010, indicating that China became an upper-medium-income economy classified by the World Bank and its economic development entered into a new stage. In 2016, China’s per capita GDP increased to $8104.91, and kept moving towards a high-income economy. During this period, due to the global financial crisis and the domestic structural transition, China’s economic growth has shown a declining trend and its rates have been lower than 8% for five consecutive years.
