Initial Preparation for CTO Intervention: Vascular Access and Selection of Guide Catheter

A careful choice of route of percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) is needed especially in CTO intervention. An operator must consider lesion characteristics, the severity of calcification, and the presence of interventional collateral vessels.
