Abstract

Interpretation and evaluation aims at an assessment of the progress in exploration, and the determination of the commercial value of a mineral deposit. In both, the methodology is similar although the precision of evaluation needs to be of a higher order in the latter case. Exploration is carried out in various stages thus it is necessary to check periodically the progress at all steps whereby the deposits which are not of immediate economic value can be relinquished.
