Abstract

Other inherited neuropathies I and II discuss inherited neuropathies other than CMT1, CMT2, CMTX and HNPP which have been covered as separate chapters. Part I gives information about neuropathies seen in inherited metabolic disorders, leukodystrophies and hereditary ataxias. These neuropathies form a part of the larger syndromes, often affecting the central nervous system as well. Mitochondriopathies, hereditary sensory and autonomic neuropathies (HSAN), hereditary neuralgic amyotrophy, giant axonal neuropathy and primary erythromelalgia are discussed in Part II.
