Concept of Automatic Landing Gear System with Altitude and Distance as Parameters

Abstract

Aircraft’s landing gear, controlled by the pilots, helps the aircraft both at take-off and landing. In this paper the concept of automatic landing gear is been presented by taking the input data from the altimeter and Distance measuring equipment. This concept eases pilot control and reduces human error. The modeling of the system with replication of extraction and retraction of landing gear for three special cases is been done using servos with the help of PSoC micro-controller and the flowchart describes the logic of the program.
