Abstract

Different people may have different ideas about the image of a typical teacher, either portraying them as being genial and amiable or serious and taciturn. Although there are differences between individual teachers, every historical era has its representatives of the typical teacher. A teacher’s image is formed by the public’s perception of teachers as a social group and by the self-perception of teachers.
