Performance of Efficient Image Transmission Using Zigbee/I2C/Beagle Board Through FPGA

Abstract

Image processing plays a major role in the efficient transmission of images. Representation of images mathematically and performing various operations in digital form makes the process more effective in today’s communication systems. Performing this image processing and transfer through various wired and wireless technologies is the major concern. This paper deals with comparison of several such propagation modules for the transmission of images by performing image processing like image compression using discrete wavelet transform, edge detection and noise removal.
