Abstract
In the previous chapter, we have solved the problem of TEM wave field transformation and proved that there indeed exists superposition of multi-aperture TEM field through experimental research. These create conditions for TEM migration and imaging. However, there exist similarity and difference between TEM migration and imaging and the migration and imaging of elastic wave in seismic. If we transform the TEM diffusion field into the wave field and use the method for wave field to interpret TEM data, namely the method using reverse extrapolation from ground to underground to do the migration and imaging for the seismic wave. This method is called TEM migration and imaging that uses Kirchhoff integral to realize the continuation calculation of EM wave. This is the focus and frontier research in TEM method. We will discuss the details of this method in three sections.
