Abstract

Brooks and rivers are formed when the precipitation is greater than the evaporation, and when at the same time porous ground do not manage to absorb and store the water. In a number of countries there are great differences between the rainy season and the dry season, and we find rivers that dry out when the rain stops. In Arabian countries in the Middle East, a Wadi in the desert landscape is such a dry river.
