Abstract
RNA besides playing a major role gene regulation is essential for health and understanding disease. It can form complex structures by base-pairing with itself and other nucleic acids. Hence it is the complex folding of RNA molecules that holds the information content rather than its linear nucleotide sequences (Spitale et al. 2014). Identification of enormous variety of functional RNAs acting besides or along with proteins in complex biological functions inside cells have increased bioinformatics analysis of RNA sequences and structures in recent years.
