Abstract

Alex Fang has worked for about ten years on Chinese numismatics and he specialises in the study of Chinese amulets. Between 14th and 15th July 2008, in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of City University of Hong Kong, he organized an international symposium entitled “Chinese Numismatic Charms”, whose proceedings are being printed.
