Abstract

In recent days, P2P networks have become the main focus of research in the field of communication. A P2P network is a dynamic open network that connects devices over the edge of internet and hence invites the operations of malicious nodes, which has lead the need to focus on security issues in these type of networks. Our ultimate aim is to improve the file sharing system with reduced file searching cost and delay. MANET’s are dynamic networks in which the nodes constantly move from one location to another which leads to the formation of disconnected networks. This paper proposes a file transfer mechanism for such type of disconnected networks by using the information obtained from the nodes regarding file searching and also provides a better security for the data in the file being transferred among the peers.
