Abstract

According to the Global Education Digest (UNESCO in Global Education Digest 2009: comparing education statistics across the world. UNESCO Institute for Statistics, Montreal, 2009), the UNESCO Institute for Statistics (UIS) defines internationally mobile students as those who leave their country or territory of origin and move with the objective of study to another country or territory of which they are not a permanent resident.
