Abstract

China has sustained rapid economic growth during reform and opening up. From 1994 to 2007, China’s ranking in the world in terms of international competitive power rose from the 34th to the 20th place with concussions, and reaching the 15th place in 2007, which was the first place among transitional countries in overall level, leading far away some small developing countries.
