Abstract
Taiwan’s second party alternation, in 2008, interrupted the disequilibrium that had led to polarized antagonism between players in politics, as well as in education, under the rule of the DPP government. It required players to adjust their preferences and strategies to cope with the new normal laid out by the electoral outcomes.
