Abstract
Violence rates have gone up considerably in the past decades, having become one of the main concerns of governments and of civil society. In Brazil, violence takes on the most varied forms. Traffic accidents, homicides, emotional and physical aggression make up a panorama of occurrences quantitatively defined by men.
