Abstract
Breath beckons to come into your words. Pulsing into a place where a rhythm of blood and bone can be transformed to ink. Though many think that writing is something for just the mind, it is also for the body. Language originates through orality, where words are formed in breath and saliva, tongue and throat and recesses of the belly. It wasn’t long ago when there was a culture of storytelling, and TV, email, and Internet were not present; one had to rely on presence. Be present. Be with presence. Guests and families would go to the living room and tell stories; ones which might have been passed down for years, and animation and language was a true love affair.
