Abstract
Moving out of state to attend graduate school was an intimidating proposition. Finances were of primary concern, but I was fortunate to have made acquaintance with an exceptional group of educators. I was offered a position at a small, rural, private college as a Writing Center coordinator under the department of Academic Success.
