Abstract

This study had three guiding questions: first, how do preservice teachers respond when required to use Twitter professionally for a teacher education course? Second, how do these participants use tweets to construct identities, if at all? And third, how do preservice teachers respond to the idea of using Twitter to develop identities based on seeking and sharing professional knowledge?
