During her semester of tweeting as a course requirement, Marina tweeted a total of 29 times. Twenty-one of those tweets included the course hashtag and four to the course hashtag were retweets. Her tweets were evenly divided between course-specific activities such as sharing the name of a scholar in her area of interest and posting humorous images, gifs, or thoughts about student teaching such as “I’m so old now,” or “gotta love using popular songs to teach grammar.” In her black and white profile picture, she smiled at the camera and wore a scarf, blouse, and dress pants.
