Abstract

We know from the thinkers discussed so far that there is agreement that the world is a very diverse place and that the way we use language shapes our meanings. These meanings are open to interpretation, and simply applying analogy to our own thoughts is not likely to help us. It is true that teachers must come to realize that any unexamined experiences, values, and ideas all too often threaten their efficacy and development, but these ought not to be considered in isolation.
