Abstract

Explanations begin with your main findings. Then, connect your findings to existing literature and theory and examine your findings from multiple angles. Sounds straightforward until you realize that studies have three possible outcomes. Your findings support your predictions, do not support your predictions, or partially support your predictions. Let’s tackle strategies for explaining each outcome.
