Abstract
Performance happens in space and time and because of this space is a central theme or question in performance (Levan, 2005, p. 120). Bodies, texts, objects, histories, and worlds move, breathe, shift, and change according to their location in space. And whether the space of the performance is a theatre, a street, a hallway, a train platform or an online ‘platform’, when we write for performance we do so in and through considerations of space.
