Abstract

The purpose of this chapter is to provide a brief overview of basic information pertaining to LGBTI rights, issues, experiences and activism in Botswana, South Africa and Swaziland. The original data presented here were collected during fieldwork conducted from December 2014 to May 2015 in these three Southern African nations.
