Abstract

Contemporary work organisations around the world are lured by the same mantra repeating globalisation, globalisation, globalisation … The word brings with it a compelling imperative for organisational attention and action in order for them to survive and prosper in a constantly changing global marketplace where earlier models for thought and practice are proclaimed as being outdated (Lane & Down, 2010; Terrell & Rosenbusch, 2012).
