Abstract
A nation’s prosperity is traditionally measured using macroeconomic indicators such as income, represented either by gross domestic product (GDP) or by average income per person (GDP per capita), but viewed more broadly as a combination of economic wealth, growth and quality of life, measures of ‘prosperity’ offer a different perspective.
