Abstract
From a global perspective, the root causes of youth marginalization may vary, but the need for action to help youth to find alternative ways to improve their chances of creating and sustaining a meaningful and productive life remains constant. It is estimated that around one in five of the global population of young adults between the ages of 15 and 24 have little or no education (Ausland, 2013).
