Abstract
Aggression and violence among school-age children have long been of concern to developmental psychologists and educators, but recent highly-publicized events (such as the Columbine High School massacre of 1999 and the 2010 suicides of Phoebe Prince and Tyler Clementi) have led to a more refined focus on aggressive interactions.
