Abstract
This chapter explores my journey into academia as a migrant working-class feminist. In particular, I examine the conflicts and tensions arising from pursuing an academic career with multiple social identities. In doing so, I reflect on my claim to these identities and use my story to illustrate how I negotiate belonging.
