Limitations and Possibilities – A Fine Line Between Success and Chaos

  • Emma Agius

Abstract

What I designed for the students was a creating and presenting unit. It aimed to have them research a current media issue and respond with a persuasive writing piece. To complement this, I set a unit of work on persuasive language from the students’ workbook, English Skills Builder ( Manning, McKenzie & Horne, 2013). This was to help them incorporate appropriate formats and language features in their writing.
