Abstract

In the current situation I witness important changes in the field of education and in the field of adult education. Perhaps it is possible to summarise them in two different approaches. First the shift from an education – and adult education – focused on the full development of the individual in the context of community life, as was the dream of the Enlightenment, to an education and an adult education focused on the acquisition of skills and competences to access the labour market.
