Abstract

In recent years, a significant amount of scholarly interest has been devoted to history teaching across and beyond borders (see, for example, Gasanabo, 2006; Dierkes, 2010; Carretero, 2011; Ahonen, 2012; Han, Kondo, Yang & Pingel, 2012; Korostelina & Lässig, 2013; Elmersjö, 2014).
