Abstract
While there is an extensive literature justifying different leadership models in traditional schools, the new up-scaled learning communities posed many challenges and complexities about how leadership should be understood and enacted, and by whom, and on what bases. These challenges included how leadership of learning should be orchestrated within and across learning communities.
