Abstract

This and subsequent chapters develop a theory generated from the central research question ‘How do parents deal with the education of their children on the autism spectrum over time?’ The study (McDonald, 2010) investigated how West Australian parents (mainly mothers) in six families dealt with the education of their child on the autism spectrum over a five year period.
