Abstract
My eyes read the note five times, but I refuse to believe it. Shaking my head, I whisper, “How can this be?” I turn around and then look at Savannah, the love of my life. I walk over to her and gently lay my hand on her forehead, checking for a fever. However, she feels cool. Her eyes––those big beautiful light brown eyes––open and look up at me
