Abstract
Above all, through their detailed descriptions and analyses, the various essays in the book have illustrated not only that pedagogy is always already an inherent element of museum work and what such work strive for, but also, and importantly, that pedagogy is invoked and advanced in particular ways to promote among museum visitors specific ways of knowing and not knowing—with each working in conjunction with the other.
