Abstract

This case study offers a vivid example of how we worked with an expert secondary teacher who used interactive whiteboard (IWB) technology and other digital resources strategically to support “active learning” about the process of photosynthesis. As in the previous case study, we report how our collaborative thematic analysis of digital video recordings and other data from a sequence of six lessons yielded detailed, theorised descriptions of the teacher’s own rationale.
