Karyn woke having slept all night on the deck, two stories up from the ground. She had considered jumping (she foresaw a broken ankle in that future), climbing the water spout (she predicted a broken neck in that scenario), screaming for help (too embarrassing), and calling upon the assistance of a neighbor (female preferably), but no maternal looking woman had come by.
