Abstract

This chapter covers the practical implementation of the theoretical framework discussed thus far. I discuss Savickas’ eight-step strategy for crafting life portraits, consider clients’ written life portraits and explain the importance of enabling clients to create their idiosyncratic vision and mission (or identity) statements during career counselling.
