Turning Hurt into Hope

Rationale for the Book

  • Chapter
Counselling for Career Construction

Abstract

In this chapter, I discuss how I developed an interest in career counselling and why I believe the topic warrants research. I support a shift in career counselling towards a contemporary, contextualized approach that will be of value to every person irrespective of colour, creed, financial situation or geographic location.
