Abstract
Quantitative and qualitative researches are the two major research methodologies used in social sciences. Researchers use different types of data collection and analysis to conduct their studies in both these methodologies. For example, quantitative researchers rely on large number of subjects, study cases directly through random selection and use statistics, graphs and mathematics to present their findings (Denzin & Lincoln 2005).
