Abstract
The theory of ethical care, as articulated by Nel Noddings (2003), explains in moral terms, the essence of interpersonal relations.ix When placed in the context of teacher preparation, care theoryx argues that how supervisors help beginning teachers learn the art of relationship building holds moral implications for supervisors, beginning teachers, and the students in their classes.
