Abstract

Research mentoring is part of the life-cycle of research development. Early career researchers (ECRs) learn from and are supported by experienced researchers and role models and expand their horizons and capabilities, then in turn become mentors themselves. In preparing to write this chapter I reflected upon several mentoring models, projects, experiences and approaches to qualitative research mentoring that I have developed, implemented and co-created in the past, and set out to re-vision and combine them for new liberations.
