Abstract

I am an Irish Catholic American woman. I am also someone committed to working with others toward producing a more just and equitable world. I have had the opportunity to work with many different people from many different geographies, cultures, ethnicities, genders, capacities, and sexualities. In this work, it has become obvious to me that without understanding what it means to be Irish Catholic American, I can’t possibly hope to understand what it means to be anything else.
