Abstract

This chapter tells the story of my involvement with Gemma, which story has two phases. It starts with an initial interaction with Gemma, her family and her school. The next phase concerns the meeting of professionals which took place so that Gemma’s next placement could be decided. Nagel’s (2002) writing is used to help elicit the questions and reflections from the above story.
