Abstract

Alex was in his late twenties at the time of the interview. He was a graduate of a Scottish university where he had studied art history and currentlyworked with media and technology assisted learning at another university. Alex went to school in Scotland and had done Scottish ‘O’ level and Higher, qualifications, equivalent to the UK General Certificate Secondary Education (GCSE) and Advanced level respectively, as practically based art qualifications, but then gone on to study art history as an undergraduate.
