Investigating Inclusive Practice in the Schools of Adriazzurra

This chapter presents the research context in which the study was conducted, the methods used to collect data, and a discussion of the findings emerging from the analysis of empirical data. The approach used for this book is very distant from the traditional positivist idea where the researcher is the one with power, orchestrating the exchange with informants. Rather it focuses on an equal relationship between the researcher and her/his participants, with intentionally loose and unstructured methods designed to leave participants space to manoeuvre.
